04 / L3Harris Innovate: Summer Program

AquaSense Smart Bottle

An ESP32-based bottle prototype developed during the eight-week L3Harris Innovate summer program. A barometer sensor supplies measurements for water-intake tracking, and Bluetooth connects the prototype to a companion app concept.

Problem

Measure water intake at the bottle and report it to a phone, reducing the need for manual logging.

Prototype

Built the prototype around an ESP32 controller, a barometer sensor, power regulation, and Bluetooth communication for water-intake data acquisition.

System integration

Integrated the sensor, controller, charging circuit, and wireless communication into the bottle prototype. Developed a companion app concept to display intake data.
